Contacted the app developer as the original published version had some continuity issues. The developer is very helpful and resolved it instantly - really impressed me. This version is even better than the original one, and I have no problem installing it on my SHIELD TV and Chromecast with Google TV. Works like a charm. Recommended to everyone who needs to AirPlay to Android TV devices.
Better than Apple Airplay. It allows background playback that even my Apple TV 4K 2021 doesn't. Instead of using Apple TV Airplay, I started using this app on my NVIDIA Shield Pro. Only problem is, I can't seem to pause/play using my Bluetooth headphone. The Bluetooth control doesn't work! Hoping dev will fix that soon
Fantastic app, I've used it consistently for several years with my android TV. Whereas similar apps tended to be a little finicky or glitchy, Airpin Pro just works everytime. There's never an issue with it seeing my nas on the network and playback is smooth at all resolutions. The updated UI looks great while remaining simple to use. Definitely worth picking up the pro version for the extra features & to support the devs who are incredibly responsive & very nice people.
