At this moment I give 3 stars as I am hearing a squelch from my TV speakers with the microphone setting to on. The image quality has definitely improved by acquiring the Alfacast X version that's 3 star for this. Any suggestions or solutions to eliminate the microphone squelch sound coming from the TV. If solved will definitely change my opinion to 5 star. Thanks
The app does not work very well, or as expected. First of all, audio cannot be cast along with the video. The video quality isn't very good, and it remains very laggy. I wanted to use it for casting my tablet to my Apple TV, while it can cast just the screen, it's not very useful if audio is missing and the video quality isn't so great and laggy.
For some daft reason screen mirroring was removed from Android TVs released after 2020, i tried so many apps to bring it back and none worked. There was a few apps that would connect but then just disconnect. So i wasnt expecting alfacast to work either but its currently free so got nothing to lose by trying it. Turns out not only does it work but it works every single time. I just wish there was more settings for things like fullscreen and display orientation. cheers dev/s
