By far still the best Bible app out there. The reading experience is great, you have access to the Bible and Catechism in a year. Easy to use and a clean UI considering how much they've added to the app. However, I'm disappointed that they've now locked the daily saint behind the subscription - that is too much. All of the video content and studies makes perfect sense, but the daily saints does not make sense to me. Even the inline questions that make this app stand out, doesn't make sense to me
I originally left a bad review because I thought the $60 a year was a crazy price (I still think that), but updating to 4 stars because it is a really well made app and easy on the eyes to read daily. My one suggestion for 5 stars is adding an option to highlight/mark Bible chapters in the Bible overview page, that way I don't lose my place if I read two different areas, maybe just give like 3 colors or markings to choose, like ribbons.
This is the best Bible study I have done. Very easy yo understand & follow. The notebook is a great place for your notes. The companion books as well as the Old Testament guide have been very helpful. The Ascencion app. is also very helpful with lots of insight and reflections. The Bible in a Year has made understanding the Old Testament easy and does not feel like a chore. I actually look forward every day to my time studying the Bible.
