Tons of fun. Accessible and easy to get started, but a shocking amoint of depth, particularly with the synth parameters. A few minor qualms to keep this from being a full 5 star review: - autosave is non-existent. closing the app will erase all work not saved. kind of a pain to so easily lose work - UI for drum sequencer is clunky. Changing samples is tricky as the tracks aren't labelled. - maximum length for sequences is only 4 measures
Great way to explore your creative ideas in music. It is more flexible and fully featured than you might think. Not very complicated but still fun. Good enough to write that hook thats on your mind for later. Not a ton of instruments but its free, so I don't complain. ***EDIT*** I have upgraded to the Pro version. Unfortunately the ability to export still doesn't work. It fails to save as a *.wav file and the associated URL it generates goes to a dead link. No replies from the developer.
This is a fantastic mini synth app. I couldn't be more pleased with it, honestly. It has a easy to learn interface and a lot of great features for serious and casual musicians. The only problem that I've encountered has been that after purchasing the pro version, I ocassionally have to uninstall it and re-install it, because it "forgets" that I puchased the pro version and becomes the demo version. That's not that big of a deal. I've used this app for live performances and recording, thanks.
