With the BR Radio App you have all radio programs of the Bavarian Radio in one app: BAYERN 1, Bayern 2, BAYERN 3, BR-KLASSIK, BR24, PULS, BR Schlager and BR Heimat.

You can see all eight channels immediately on the homepage - with the name of the current program and the title that is currently being played. Each station can be started and continued to be listened to while you concentrate on other things. On the broadcast page you will find detailed descriptions and an overview of all titles. You can also save a link to your favorite station directly on your home screen, set an alarm clock or call up program highlights. You can always find the contact options in the studio directly with your favorite program.

On the German autobahn, tourist signs repeatedly point to culturally or historically exciting places. But what exactly does it mean? The new "Drive by Bayern" function plays content from the BR audio treasure precisely where it is. Knowledge as you drive past, so to speak. You can install the corresponding version with the new function directly via the public beta test here in the Play Store. So that the app can retrieve the location on Android Auto, the location access is required in the background, since the app is not open in the foreground here. A corresponding audio guide, which you can start using the BR Radio app on Android Auto, tells you how to activate the location authorization if necessary. The location data is only used locally on the device to determine which motorway you are on and when you will reach a corresponding sign. The location data is not saved. The position and direction of travel can be determined by the distance to auxiliary points along the route. Further information can also be found in our data protection declaration. You can withdraw the location approval at any time via the settings menu.
