So far, I like this app. Has had almost every food I have searched and tracks the basics fairly well. UI is OK and easy to pick up the available functions. The few issues I have are minor. For example, I would like to see them add all of the micronutrients and some of the nutritional data is a bit bonkers (1 teaspoon of bacon grease has 3800 calories, for example) and the excercise portion is clunky. Overall it does the basics well and the ads aren't too obnoxious.
I was under the impression I pay 20 dollars a month for no ads and yet I get ads saying to go premium. However I'm getting the same stuff I got when I had the free trial of the pay version. Other than that I don't have any problems. It's accurate and easy to navigate. I haven't tried the groups yet but the food diary and the macros are stellar. Will re rate 5 * when I can get an answer if my version is paid or not. EDIT I read further on down and it seems there is a glitch being worked on. 5*!
Took a break from MFP and just came back. Love the new look, however, the scanner tool was free before. It was the best part of MFP. Wouldn't mind paying for the months I'm going to use the app but both the monthly and yearly price don't make sense. I don't want a year and $20 a month is more insane than Netflix. Downloaded a few newer apps and will probably stay with one of them that is better cost for what you get.
