I'm able to communicate with my child's teacher anytime of the day during class and after school. I love being able to click applaud my child for points that are given when they complete/do certain things or complete certain tasks. it also keeps me up-to-date on upcoming things that are happening at the school and even in her class specifically. the only thing that I don't like is that you have to pay to do certain things in the app to be more involved and that is the reason I'm giving 4 stars
Noticed issues in the points feature, and the app stops updating at times. I find the main feed disorienting with the way it groups posts into stories. I'm not sure if the school is doing it, or it's just how it works. It has good ideas, but the way it's built makes it frustrating at times. Like the brushing timer only works online, and God forbid the internet is slow, it makes getting them to brush even harder than before we had it, because now they are used to having it and complain about it.
Overall, it is a great way to communicate with those who educate your child. I give the app 4 out 5 because if you want to do things like save pictures, you have to pay. Not just a flat rate but a subscription. I don't feel like this kind of tool should be allowed to charge for what would otherwise would be free. Imagine if everyone used Facebook groups instead. All the features would be the same with no added fee's.
