His name and origin:
Ahmad Ibn Khalil Ibn Shaheen Ibn Ahmad Ibn Qubais
He was born in 1375 AH in Qena Governorate, Upper Egypt
Qualifications:
He joined the study in the primary stage and at the same time he began to memorize the Qur’an and was able to memorize it in two years at the hands of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sayyid Kilani, may God have mercy on him, and before he finished the primary stage, his father moved to the mercy of God, but his ambition would not stop as he moved to Sohag Governorate and met Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Balini, who He recited to him some parts of the Qur’an and authorized him in them, then he returned to his hometown
Then his eyes turned to Cairo to complete what he had started in his village, to meet with Sheikh Sayyid Muhammad Abbas, may God have mercy on him, and read the Qur’an to him, and also recited to Sheikh Amer al-Sayyid Othman and many others.

He joined the Institute of Qira’at in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and studied Tajweed for two years, followed by an automated stage of readings, which he spent three years of his life, then he completed it with a specialization stage in readings, which lasted for three years. He has benefited through his studies by a large number of eminent scholars such as Sheikh Hassan Al-Halawani, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Atl, Sheikh Abdul Raouf Berri, Abdul Rahman Al-Bari and Sheikh Ahmed Mustafa Hasano.
