Never had any issues with this app. I use it primarily for the Star Wars RPG. I wish there was text associated with the results tally after rolling such as "success" and "threat" just under the dice symbols. This could even be turned off for those who no longer need it. Or even a toggle that could bring up a symbol and dice key identifying what everything is. It would make teaching the game much easier to those intimidated by the unusual dice and symbols.
Of all the apps I've gotten, this is one of the more reliable ones I've been able to enjoy. Even if some of the functions have changed, like not being able to change the background or the sound sets like it used to have, it's been a solid dice rolling app and I do recommend it even if you don't happen to play any of the FFG/EDGE Studios games. I did edit this review, my previous one had been a 4-star due to some of the polyhedral dice being missing, but that issue has since been fixed.
I would like this better if the amount of time the dice roll across the screen was longer, configurable, and/or random between the dice themselves. For example, all the dice roll exactly the same (about 1 second) and all come to rest at exactly the same time. It's about as satisfying as watching a random function spit out a number. It just doesn't feel as real. With just a little bit of tuning, I think this dice would make the dice roll feel more real.
