Test driving the app, here's my early feedback: 1) There's no visual feedback when you tap a button. So, I press something, nothing seems to happen, and I don't know if it's thinking or if I didn't really hit the button. 2) if you scroll to the bottom of your posts, the new post button overlaps with the earliest tweet. Awkward if you have big fingers.
When I found Counter Social, I knew I'd found my new home on the web. After trying pretty much everything, from Tribel to Mastodon, looking for a Twitter replacement. There are a lot of really brilliant and funny people in the CoSo community, and it is just big enough to keep you entertained but small enough to feel like home. I have never had a problem with either the phone app or the web app, except for needing to turn off ad blocker (there are no ads) to make the web app fully functional.👍
The app itself works very well as an interface for an Android phone. Things were a bit spotty for a bit recently, but that had to do with a huge migration of new users from Twitter requiring server-side updates to support. It had nothing to do with the app itself. It's a perfectly good interface to a truly unique social network.
