Flickr is one of the worst apps I have ever encountered. Navigation is a nightmare, there is no clear way to manually upload photos from one's photo gallery, and the downloader will only download up to 500 photos at a time. It would have been nice to have an option to select all photos at once and give a warning if the total number of photos exceeded a certain amount. Instead, there is a "select all" option for each day, but no option I can find to "deselect all".
2/12/2024: Won't upload images anymore through the app. This App needs a much improved upload functionality. And a way to search for album (and just your own; don't care about other users). Sharing from Google Gallery to Flickr also does not upload anything. 7/28/2023: well, it uploads, but won't assign to an album via the app. Not during upload, and not from the photostream either.. Still sucks overall.
The uploading of photos in this app is unacceptably terrible. It often takes 2 or 3 attempts to get a photo uploaded when uploading straight from the app, while sharing a photo directly to the flickr app is a coin toss whether it'll show up. My wife has the same issue on a different model phone, it's 100% the app.
