Garbage app. Always says disconnected even when on WiFi with strong internet connection. For as many ads that are shown in app you would think it would work at least some of time. No, it's just an app that doesn't care if it works just that it shows you A LOT of ads. Don't waste your time. Update: Definitely no longer free don't believe anything they say, you must pay to keep your number. A bunch of scammers and thieves!!!
I have been using dingtone for as long as I can remember. At least the last 10 years, if not longer. Love this app. Extra phone numbers always come in handy for all sorts of different purposes. There are multiple ways to earn free credits. I maintain all my dingtone numbers annually by earning free credits in addition to adding voice-mail to a few of those numbers. Can't speak highly enough about this app. Recommend 100%....no apps come close in comparison.
Paid to reserve number but then it turns out you STILL need credits to actually make or receive calls. So I bought extra credits. That didn't work either, the credit balance would magically fluctuate and eventually go to zero even with only 2 test texts made. They really want you to participate in their ridiculous activities in order to earn credits that way. The app in general is an ad cluttered, activities-crammed mess. I ported out the number by paying an extra $120 (!) so I can move on.
