I love this app to look up reviews and to keep track of what I've read. But it is not accurate. It literally has 3 books listed that I've finished for 2024, but my goal for the year says I've read 1. I've tried everything to get it corrected with no luck. My total for last year was 15 books short. I counted manually to get my correct count.
I read a lot. I've been using this app for 10+ years. I love that I can track what books I've read and rate them. I enjoy seeing the books that friends are reading and wanting to read. I just wish it recommended books more based on what I've read and rated on "my shelf" than just based on particular genres. I also wish there was a way to mark books "not interested" when recommended so that it would quit showing and suggesting books with topics I have no interest in reading.
Extremely unhappy with whatever has caused the recent glitches. Things don't show up. A lot of text is either white on white or just plain isn't loading on the user end. I've been using Goodreads for the past two years finally to track my reading goals even though I've been on it forever... but I think I'm going to need to find something else if this isn't fixed. You'd think Amazon taking over would have at least made USER functionality better and not worse, but right now this is unusable.
