Imam Syafi'i's full name is Muhammad bin Idris bin 'Abbas bin 'Usman bin Syaafi' bin Saaib bin 'Ubaid bin 'Abdu Yazid bin Haasyim bin 'Abdul Mutthalib bin 'Abdul Manaf.
