March 2024 update requires accepting new predatory terms of service. It holds you hostage and won't allow you to get to your devices until you accept. Do not update to this version or later. I'm going to move all my tp-link devices to Home Automation server if possible. Tp-link, if you do this to my wireless routers, I will just open source them too.
I used to love this app. But when I put it on my new samsung galaxy twenty four, it will not turn on with the smart switch . I have made certain that the on command was first I have made certain it was second. It doesn't matter what I do. It will not turn on. It will turn off fine on the time set, but it will not turn on for the time set. It's very irritating cause I wanted to use a light to help wake me up in the mornings
So far so good! I use Kasa to operate my pet cam at home, which I find extremely helpful when traveling. The app has a lot of nice features, allowing for motion tracking, night vision, recording, and 360 deg camera rotation. I wish sharing the camera view with other people was easier - if I have a friend pet sitting, I'd like to be able to share the camera view with them without giving them the password information and the ability to change my settings, which I don't think is possible.
