KATWARN is a service app for transmitting danger and disaster warnings within Germany. The app provides location-based notification of danger alerts, such as heavy fires or extreme weather, with the ability to always be informed for the current location and additionally for seven other, freely selectable places. This selection can be canceled, adjusted and switched off at any time. Various facilities may be distributed, the use of KATWARN
differ regionally. In addition, KATWARN disseminates the warnings of the federal modular warning system (MoWaS / NINA app) and is also used internationally.
The app has the following features:
• active notification (push messages) about dangers for up to eight locations: seven locations besides the current location (= "guardian angel")
• postal code-specific warnings for the selected locations with warning texts and color-based classification of the warning level
• continuous, anonymized updating of the location information so that no further input to the location is required manually
• Immediate notification when entering a current danger area
• Feedback function for feedback to the app provider

Download and install LDPlayer on your computer
Locate the Play Store in LDPlayer's system apps, launch it, and sign in to your Google account
Enter "KATWARN" into the search bar and search for it
Choose and install KATWARN from the search results
Once the download and installation are complete, return to the LDPlayer home screen
Click on the game icon on the LDPlayer home screen to start enjoying the exciting game
If you've already downloaded the APK file from another source, simply open LDPlayer and drag the APK file directly into the emulator.

'Location services are available - guardian is being activated.' This notification appears multiple times per day, for weeks on end. Other than these notifications, the app doesn't seem to do anything. Has anybody actually ever been warned by this thing? Or does it just send senseless notifications about a guardian, who doesn't guard anything except the location? Android 11, latest Katwarn update is installed. Edit: update installed, looks like it stopped now, big relief!
This is it, I will now finally uninstall the app - Guardian Angel still spams about 90 notifications a day, even after the update and when it's deactivated. This is beyond annoying and I might not even notice when there is a real alert. Please fix this
20+ notifications in one hour about guardian angel location services being available. I had to disable guardian angel to avoid the excessive notifications - none of which were weather/environmental. Update: disabling Guardian Angel isn't enough, I'm getting bombarded with these location services is now available notifications, I've had to uninstall Katwarn. They also don't seem to read their reviews either so this is pointless.
