As I recall the day I entered the seminary in the early 1980s and recall the image of Pastor Jang Jong-hyun, Seok Baek, the founder, who was passionate from the time he entered, I remember those days as well. Once again, I am deeply moved by the fact that the place that made me who I am today is Baekseok Theological Seminary, the birthplace of evangelization workers in this country, and the home of spiritual dreams and hopes in Korea in the 21st century.

As we learned at Baekseok Theological Seminary, we must become “practitioners of love.” It should be an alumni association full of “diligence, honest, humble, and praising the glory of the Lord.” This is a proposition that cannot be changed as long as Baekseok Theological Seminary exists.
