Great overall VPN which connects lightening fast! So why 4 stars? ½ star for each of the followings: 1. It automatically starts after boot and doesn't have the setting to disable it (unlike the Windows version). 2. Doesn't have a notification toggle for fast switching it on/off. I think this should become a standard feature among Android VPN apps.
I live in IRAN where there's a strict wide range web filtering and every day it's turning to be more difficult to find a good VPN to use internet freely. Lantern has been a really good app to go around the filters and no reduce in internet speed but every now and then it connects to IRAN's servers which is no use at all and there's no way to change the server. After a few days it might change and be usable again but meanwhile we have to look for other VPNs.
This app works perfectly fine in the high offchance that it actually launches. It crashes literally 99% of the time I open the app, and I have to try to open it over and over again for just a small chance it wob't crash. Is their a way that I can prevent this?
