Well, after 20+ years using TM, I've switched to bit defender and won't be returning to TM. I had purchased a sub that was 2 years for 10 devices and that auto renewed as such for a number of years at a reasonable rate for the service. Last year it changed from 2 years to 1 without notifying me and I didn't notice right away given the auto renew price was the same. I checked it again recently and it had increased in price but went down to 3 devices for annual. I'm done with TM anti consumer BS.
I used to love this app, but on my new Samsung phone and tablet Google play installs the app in the settings of the phone. There is no short cut to open the app. I never see the screen images your ad shows. I can't run a system or virus scan, access the battery and storage saving options or special features in your add. It only seems to come on and work when I try to use the internet on an unsecured network...even though I also use trend micro's vpn proxy one pro. so the apps don't sync.
If you subscribe to premium, it works about like every other antivirus app. Once the premium trial expires, it's literally 100% useless. You can run a scan, but you can't even see the results without subscribing. Uninstall this and download Malwarebytes. They have premium options but the free plan works great for most people.
