Sign Up:
If you don't have an account, you'll need to sign up to access the app's main features.

User Profile:
After completing the sign-up, your first stop is your profile page. Initially, it showcases default information. To personalize it, tap 'update profile'. Here, you can add or modify your profile picture, banner image, display name, location, website, and a bio. Updates to your profile picture, banner image, location, and bio will appear in the 'Activity Feed'. Moreover, any photos or videos you capture will be featured on your profile.

Camera:
Look for the blue '+' icon on the bottom bar – this directs you to the camera. The first time you access this feature, the app will request permission to use your camera and microphone. Once granted, you'll see a full-screen camera view with several utility buttons below. You can toggle the flash, switch between front and rear cameras, capture photos and videos, and even record hands-free videos.

Uploading Images/Videos:
After capturing a photo or video, you're directed to a preview screen. For first-time users, the app will prompt for location access. This is to tag your media with the city's name where it was captured. However, you can edit this tag if desired. Sharing your media posts them to your profile. Videos, in addition, get featured on the 'Map View' for 24 hours. Anyone can pinpoint the video's location on the map. If you prefer not to share your video's location, tap the 'more options' icon below the video preview. Note: Private accounts automatically restrict videos from appearing on the map, and images are never displayed on the map.

Map View:
Located at the extreme left of the bottom bar, the map view showcases an interactive map. The app will request location access to mark your approximate current location. You can zoom, scroll, and upon selecting an area, view videos captured there in the last 24 hours. A search bar at the top lets you jump to specific locations, while the location pin icon directs you to videos from nearby cities. The people icon navigates you to the 'Activity Feed'.

Activity Feed:
This is your hub for user interaction. Search for and follow other users, see recent posts from those you follow, and keep an eye on profile updates from them (displayed for 48 hours). Your notifications, including new followers and interactions on your posts, are also listed here.

Posts:
Tap on any post to view it in full. Engage with posts by liking and commenting. While scrolling through posts, the grid icon at the top lets you skip to any post in the list. If you come across any content that breaches NowMap's terms of use, please report it.
