The best photogrammetry app out there is finally available for Android! Having just done a couple of scans, I'm really impressed by its capabilities; considering the app is completely free unlike PolyCam which I've been using for a while now... Atm imma rate it a 9/10, as I wish I could save the data sets to be used on RC PC to compare results. UPDATE 1.2: my capture limit is still 200 and not 250 as advertised!!
This app has some real promise, once a little more structure is added to it. For example, I wish it had the ability to take video and extract the necessary data from that. It could also do better at not rejecting so many images in the scan, but I'm sure that will come with improvements to the algorithm. Overall, I can't wait to see where this goes.
Unique in how it visually shows how to capture and where you require more data. The result is the best by far that I've seen in app form. Simple and effective. More data yields a better result. Don't skimp on the qty of photos, 70+ will give you a decent result generally. 100+ will be better.
