Rename & Organize with EXIF, formerly “Picture Manager” makes use of EXIF Metadata to rename and organize your pictures.Renaming:
Rename your pictures with your desired timestamp formats and other EXIF metadata like camera model, manufacturer and many more.
Additional options are:
• Replace text in filename
• Append or prepend text
• Add a counter to your filenames
• To Upper- or Lowercase
• Manually rename and delete
Organising:
Clean up your image and video collection by sorting your pictures into dated folders or named by the location. This all works automatically by using the EXIF metadata-

Moving:

With an algorythm called PHash or AverageHash it is possible to find similar images.

If your camera does not have a gps module you can record your gps coordinates with a 3rd party app into a gpx file. Picture Manager can then match timestamps from your images and the locations in the gpx file and write GPS data into your images.
Add missing EXIF thumbnails.
The thumbnail is used to display a preview images on your camera LCD screen or file explorers. It is saved into the EXIF metadata and helps cameras and file explores to show a preview of the image quickly because without it would require to read the whole image into memory beforehand

Highest marks! I found a little bug, and the developer fixed it right away. I was also helped in understanding how things work, and amazed at the great utility of this app. Not only was it exactly what I was looking for, but, even better! I'm using it with S23 Ultra, and Expert RAW, with Intervalometer app, to make timelapses. With Rename & Organize with EXIF, I can export my files to Resolve and make it work without the headache. 1000s of pictues were missing EXIF data, causing issues in my Gallery (pictures from old cameras and messages, etc) but with this app, I could use the file modication date to rewrite the missing data. If needed, I use the Image & Video Date Fixer to fix the modification date (when Android changes those dates due to time zones changes like when you travel, take pictures in the new time zone, and return to your normal time zone, all of the pictures have the wrong dates).
This app is awesome, and it really does work, I highly recommend getting the premium version. For quick professional support, I suggest using Telegram.
