Not a whole bunch of ads. Won't connect to anything but my son's x box, and then won't even cast there. Won't connect to any of my Rokus, I keep getting an error message that the station might not be available in my area when trying to connect and stream apps. But then I'm not tech savvy. Hopefully, my son can try it, if he's successful, I'll change the rating.
With a Roku stick, Mitsubishi TV, and Google phone, it was confusing. Roku cast app. was easy to connect and use. A problem I found, was that it cast each file individually rather then a continuous feed from my phones screen. Meaning every ad, pop-up, or link highlighted, pulls up an icon that gives the option to cast which has to be dismissed leaving the user guessing the right unnamed file from a list of duplicates
FINALLY! Something that works 🙂. I was able to browse to my favorite website, start a movie and the video streams were detected. I then simply selected the stream I wanted, selected the device I wanted to stream to, which in this case was my Roku, and voila! The video stream appeared on my TV. Requires installation of 'Web Video Caster - Receiver' app (free) on Roku device. Thank you to the developers of this app for making it so easy to use. Very intuitive interface! This is the best for me!
