I use it to record meetings and my goofing around on a guitar as well as choir performances but the choir performances sound a little distant from my seat in the audience without a microphone. They are just recorded straight to my Samsung S9 and have been doing it for years now. Probably would sound better with a microphone attached to my phone but that takes away some of the utility for me. I like being able to set the gain depending on the surroundings.
I just can't believe this! Step-01: press the red button to start recording. Step-02: press the pause button to stop recording. Step-03: Close the app. That's it. You've lost the recorded audio file. I just can't believe this. So I've tried three alternative VoiceRecorder apps: all of them saves the audio file immediatelly when recording is paused. The ShurePlus is the only one recording app where you loose the recorded file, when not pressing the "Done" button in the upper right corner.
This app might work well on iOS, but it doesn't on Android: Unable to listen to the recorded tracks, sharing options often don't work, plenty of bugs here and there... I must admit I don't use it with one of the few compatible and recommended devices , but the hardware seems to work anyway. And we're still waiting for a shur app for video recording!
