After a few days, it appears the app is working again. It appears there was an update, and perhaps that was what caused previous issues. It's not perfect, but it is a pretty reliable app, AND it's the only one I know of that's free. All others want $$$ for accurate bus locations. This one is free, but sometimes the GPS position of busses is off, and sometimes it has the wrong bus number connected to the bus that shows up, and you can't submit a way to fix that.
I started using this app because Google maps had temporarily taken away the option to select the time you want. I'm glad I did. It's so convenient. This app does show you the progress you're making on the map, but it goes one step further and actually tells you when a destination is two stops away and when your stop is coming up. That feature, alone, has proven invaluable. It's also much more transparent with how long the wait is for the next bus. I now prefer this app over Google maps.
Twice now, I've purchased tickets in this app, and later, the ticket area disappears. No proof of my $85 monthly pass purchase. I've uninstalled/reinstalled once... which worked. I can't keep doing this. Very poor. EDIT: I removed another star. I was quickly contacted in an effort to fix this. I was told to uninstall/reinstall (which I already knew worked). Again today... the ticket portion of my account has disappeared. This is causing more stress than anything.
