I didn't download this app, but it appeared on my phone recently. Periodically, I get push notifications that it is running in the background, but the app icon will be hidden. Wasn't able to find the app through my Samsung account or phone app file folders, including system apps to delete it, like it's embedded elsewhere (I'm relatively Tech savvy as well). Started getting overplayed ads across half of my screen. When running task manager the app would hide itself. Definitely malware!
Fake reviews I'm sure. Got me to download and use this app. Recording was easy and convenient. Problem is can't use my phone properly because of all the pop up ads and they control your phone. I have the hardest time removing the pop up ads. Want worth the time and energy to download use and then have to throw the whole app away with Recordings. Doesn't work for anyone if you can't access your phone. Very upset and never using thus app ever again!!!
The developers must have paid a bot farm for all of the good reviews- it has 4.8 Stars, but if you scroll down and look at all of the recent, authentic reviews, you'll see they get demolished! And rightfully so. It's basically a backdoor ad app, and it's constantly running in the background, even if you haven't initiated use. As soon as I turn on my phone, the app is running in the background! Plus, you have to give it permission to utilize your mic, so that's concerning. Stay away. Far away!
