There have been moments where I was profoundly moved by a book, a film, or a piece of art, and I felt like it was something I’d cherish forever. But as the months—or even just a few weeks—passed, it would slip entirely from my memory. Every time this happened, I would be filled with guilt, regret, and a sense of failure. I would go through the same mental routine: "Why is my memory so bad?" This cycle of self-blame became a deeply ingrained habit.

I tried all sorts of methods to solve this: using notebooks, diaries, and even recording apps. I read books about forgetting and how to retain memories, all in hopes of finding a solution.
