GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE New Flavor Update - What To Expect

With the release of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE brand new content update patch - New Flavor, players can expect a whole host of interesting and impressive gameplay feature changes, brand new limited events and campaigns, special new game modes and the release of a brand new character - Bready.

 

Maintenance Notice & Time

 

Along with the announcement for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, a maintenance notice has also been announced in order for the game’s developers to maintain the game and release the update patch in time.

 

The maintenance time has been set for the 27th of March, from 11:00 to 18:00 (UTC+9). So players should take note and avoid logging into the game during the maintenance time to avoid any unfortunate accidents occurring during this time.

 

New Flavor Update Patch Content Calendar

 

Together with the game’s maintenance notice, players will also be treated with the game’s upcoming update content calendar, detailing everything that the new Update Patch - New Flavor have in store for players during the upcoming months.

As can be seen from the content calendar, some notable events and schedules that players should pay attention to are:

- Limited Time Event - New Flavor: Available from March 27th (After Maintenance) - April 11th

- Reward Up Event - Full Burst Day: March 29th - April 3rd.

- New Main Story Episode - Ade: April 3rd - April 17th

- Solo Raid Event: April 3rd - April 10th

 

Limited Time Event - New Flavor

 

Serving as the main attraction for this update patch, the brand new limited time available event New Flavor is an event that lasts for 2 weeks, from March 27th all the way until April 11th.

During the limited time event’s duration, players will be able to participate in the event in order to read the event exclusive story and clear special event exclusive stages. Completing these stages will net players special event exclusive currencies that they can use to exchange for various important items in the limited event shop.

 

The limited event shop will be available for the entire duration of the event and 1 week after the event duration, featuring special items such as character upgrading materials, gacha currencies and more. 

 

During the limited event period it is highly recommended that players should spend their stamina items and daily stamina on farming event stages in order to obtain as much event exclusive currencies as possible.

 

The event’s challenge stages, which provide harder challenges for better rewards will be available 1 week after the event is live

 

New Limited Seasonal Costumes

 

Together with the update patch contents, players will also have the chance to get special limited seasonal costumes for 2 characters:

 

- Special Costume: Tia - Sweet Chef

Description: I’ll make you some sweet desserts.

 

- Special Costume: Ade - Maid In Spring

Description: A maid’s pleasant days spent together with Master.

 

The special costume for Tia will be available for players to obtain through the game’s April Gamepass, while the special costume for Ade will be available through the patch’s special 21 days login campaign.

 

New Archives Update

 

With the update, 1 old event story will be added to the Archives:

 

- Story Event ONE MORE TIME is now available in Archives.

 

Participate in NEW FLAVOR to obtain Memory Films, used for unlocking story events in Archives.

 

Special Log In Events

 

During the New Flavor update patch’s duration, 2 log in events will be run simultaneously, each providing players with various important game currencies and rewards:

- 7-Day Login Event - BREAD MENU: Log in for any 7 days during the event and get rewards. Get Recruit Vouchers and development materials when you log in for 7 days straight.

 

- 21-Day Login Event - MAID IN BLOOM: Log in for any 21 days during the event and get rewards. Get Special Costume: Ade - Maid In Spring, Advanced Recruit Vouchers and development materials when you log in for 21 days straight.

 

Special Limited Time Events & Game Modes

 

Finally, to aid players when playing the game during the event’s period, special limited buff events and special game modes will be unlocked and playable during the update patch’s duration, providing players with various rewards for clearing each of the event’s contents:

 

- Weekend FULL BURST DAY Event: During the weekend FULL BURST DAY event, players can obtain an additional reward in Interception and Simulation Room.

 

- Solo Raid: Mobilize squads to challenge the boss and obtain Harmony Cube materials, Favorite Item materials, and Collection Item materials. The Challenge ranking difficulty is determined based on the total damage dealt. Rewards like limited avatar frames and gems will be distributed according to the rankings.

 

- Coordinated Operation: Form a team of five Commanders and challenge the Boss Land Eater together! Players can either team up with friends and union members or join the challenge through automatic matching. Defeat the boss and get Broken Cores to exchange them for Gems and development materials, and more in the Recycling Shop!

GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE New Characters - Should You Pull

As mentioned, together with the release of the New Flavor update patch, players will be able to meet and roll for a brand new character coming to the game - The SSR Attacker Bready

 

Bready Details & Skills

 

Bready is a Attacker type unit that wields a Sniper Rifle as her main weapon of choice, she deals water type damage and excels at dealing damage to enemies when her burst skill is activated. Bready is an Attacker whose attack effects change to continuous damage and distributed damage based on the buffs granted by her allies. Her transformed attack effects become even more powerful when her Burst Skill is activated.

Both of Bready’s 1st and 2nd skills are passive skills that boost her overall damage output massively. 

 

Her 1st skill passive has 3 different effects that are active depending if the conditions for their activations are met, granting her different buffs based on if her Burst Attack is active, if she gained a damage sustained damage buff or if she gained a damage distribution buff. Each of these effects trigger her passive, increasing her attack and reduces her charge time by half with each condition fulfilled.

 

Her 2nd skill passive functions similarly to her 1st skill and is affected by her 1st skill passive. When her 1st skill passive is active, when Bready hits the enemies with Full Burst Attacks, she will gain additional attack stats and deal even more damage.

 

Finally, Bready’s 3rd skill is her burst skill. When activated, she goes into burst mode and grants herself massive attack boosts and damage boosts. If her 1st skill passives are active, she will gain additional effects based on the 1st skill passives.

 

Should You Pull

 

An interesting water type Attacker, Bready excels at dealing massive damage to enemies when she is buffed by various buffs from her teammate, allowing her to lower her charge cooldown and help her constantly enters her Burst mode, granting herself even more damage boosting effects and powerful attacks.

If players are in dire need of a Water type attacker unit, Bready is a very good consideration with her high burst damage output and overall good skill kit. However, players will need to make sure to make a good team to help buff Bready in combat in order to make the best use out of her full skill kit and allow her to shine on the field against enemies. 

 

General consensus on her performance will be reached once she is officially out when the update is live, but on initial impression, Bready is a unit worth picking up for general players.
