Within a magic chess match in Magic Chess: Go Go, you will be able to deploy magic chess pieces on the battlefield to battle against other chess pieces, each with their own unique abilities and skills depending on what hero the chess piece is.
Each hero can be recruited through various means including buying them from the shop and they can be upgraded during the game by obtaining 3 of the same heroes. Once this is fulfilled, the hero’s star rating will be increased and their stats will be massively improved.
Each of the hero chess pieces is assigned 2 different symbols beneath them when entering battle and when recruiting them, 1 signifies their role, allowing players to know what each of the hero chest pieces roles are on the battlefield so that they can effectively position the chess pieces properly in a fight.
The roles of the different hero chess pieces are divided into the following: Bruiser, Dauntless, Defender, Weapon Master, Marksman, Summoner, Swordsman, Mage, Support and Stargazer.

When obtaining hero chess pieces in Magic Chess: Go Go, it is entirely up to luck whether or not you can obtain all of the heroes you need in a game match as the entirety of the shop system for hero chess pieces are randomized,
However, there are certain team lineups and compositions you should aim for when playing the game so that you can get the best possible outcome against other players.
The best team lineup players should aim for based on hero roles when playing the game is a 2 melee + 4 ranged roles hero formation, with extra slots given to supplement the team when the situation needed.
For the offensive team lineup, players should aim for a 2 Defender + 2 Weapon Master team lineup, allowing you to have good defense and offense with defenders protecting your back row.
For the defensive team comp, players can pick a 2 Bruiser, 2 Defender, 2 Swordsman/ 2 Weapon Master team comp to drag the enemies down with their consistent attacks and overly powerful defensive power.
Players can also do a Full Role Team where the team is consists of 6 heroes of the same role, however, it is not recommended at the start of the match due to the unstable nature of this team comp.
Aside from building a team based on the heroes’ different roles, players can also build a team based on the faction synergy to obtain the powerful Synergy buffs.
The more popular Synergy formation is Dragon Altar Synergy, due to its relatively easy nature to make and powerful buffs to all allies. However, this synergy can only shine late game when the 6 heroes effect is active.
Another powerful Synergy team comp you should consider is the Vonetis Sea Synergy, which massively boost the team’s damage output proportional to the amount of synergies in the team.
Finally, one of the best synergy team lineups for late game that players can aim for is the Northern Vale Synergy team, which focuses on debuff stacking and has the ability to deal true damage to enemies, good for dealing with late game tanky team comps.
