Are you wondering what Portuguese is? This is the new card game of Spanish cards of Producciones Don Naipe, a variant of the tute that you will love. Portuguese is very easy to learn and the game includes a tutorial. The rules are the following:

Portuguese is a game of tricks of 4 or 5 players (this version implements that of 5). Each player competes with the rest to reach first 0 points starting from the same initial score. To achieve this the players participate in a series of rounds in which each trick is reduced by one point. But, beware, if a player does not get any tricks in a round, they will add 5 points.

At the beginning of each round each player receives 2 cards. The hand player is forced to play and decides the paint stick with his cards. If your hand does not decide with your two cards, you can choose to paint your next card (without seeing it). If they paint CUPS, everyone is required to play, and if they paint BASTOS the score is double (both for and against).

Known the club that paints, the remaining players decide with their 2 cards if they dispute the round or not (provided they are not required to play). Then 3 cards are dealt to the participants and there is a discard turn. Once the discard is completed, the round is played according to the rules of tute. Scores are updated at the end of the round and, if there is no winner, a new one will be played.

A player is required to play in any of the following situations:
 * If it's a hand
 * If they paint CUPS
 * If you have less than 10 points
 * If you have two rounds without playing
 * If only the hand goes and the player is dessert
