As you know, chess is one of the oldest strategy games in the world. An excellent game for developing such qualities as tactics, logic and memory. The goal of the game is to "capture" the opponent's king with 12 pieces at his disposal. I invite you to try your hand and wish you victory!
Chess is usually played by two players against each other.


Each set of pieces includes: a king (♔, ♚), a queen (♕, ♛), two rooks (♖, ♜), two bishops (♗, ♝), two knights (♘, ♞) and eight pawns (♙, ♟ ). In the starting position, the pieces of both sides are placed as shown in the diagram. White occupies the first and second ranks, black - the seventh and eighth. The pawns are located on the second and seventh ranks, respectively.
How to play
Click on the piece you want to move, then point at the square of the board where you want to place the piece.
