The developers of the app focus more on the iOS application, and unlike all the other applications on my phone, this app takes a horrendous 15-20 seconds to load. Also, the scanner feature needs major improvements; on the iOS application the corners of any scanned pages are detected, but on my Pixel 7 Pro, not so much. The only other problem I found was that if I tried opening the Canvas Student app when my WiFi wasn't working, then it would reset the widgets from dark mode to light mode.
Pretty decent mobile port, as long as you're an expert with the website, but I've gotta give one suggestion to the app that I wish so badly was a think. Of all of the push notifications you can turn on, there isn't one option that reminds you about an assignment when it's close to the set deadline. Why? They need to make this a thing... please.
The best platform and app for student / classroom management. As a longtime student finishing up an MS degree who has used many of these platforms, all pale in comparison. The interface is so good and shows you what you need to see in an organized manner
