Works okay if you keep it active on screen. Two big flaws led me to uninstall: 1) The app is fullscreen and has interactive elements at the bottom edge. On a device with an on-screen home button, switching apps causes the timer to advance to the next split, since this requires touching the bottom edge of the screen. It also means the top bar is hidden, which is frustrating. 2) When running in the background, the app sometimes shuts down entirely, even if you disable battery optimization.
It's a great app. But I find that it's punishing if you slip and hit the reset button. I think it would be helpful if the reset button asked if your sure before erasing the current run. Also would be nice to save the progress of a current run, for those runs that are + 10 hours and you can't fit it into a single day. Otherwise everything you would want from a speedrun split app
I use it when I'm playing my nes classic and don't have access to a PC splitter. The UI took some getting used to, and I wish there were more options for how to display realtime info, but it works well and does what I need it to. When you consider how much people spend on capture cards and consoles, and games, the people bitching about the 2 bucks seem petty.
