The ads, don't seem to make any sense. I have a video playing in the background while I am on a different app, playing a multi-player game. Recanted decides to interrupt that app, force close the app I'm in to play a 30 plus second unskippable add. Once it's done, it brings me back to revanced where I am now BEHIND and then lost a game because of revanced. Why couldn't the ad just play without me having to see it and freezing up my other apps.
Dont download. The whole point of "Vanced" is that there are no ads. The guys behind Vanced have made an effort to remove ads from everything they touch. This app has random UNSKIPPABLE POP-UP ADS, which leads me to believe that this isn't developed by the same crew. Before and after every single video I watch, I get an unskippable ad about some mobile game. I downloaded this app to avoid ads. So what's the point? Edit: Getting pop up ads during videos. Do not download, app not as advertised.
It's a totally useless app. It does not block YouTube ads on my phone or when cast onto a television. And yes, it is up-to-date. If it was possible to give it zero stars, I would. 9/24/23 update: No, contrary to what the developer said in a 9/8/23 response, it STILL does nothing. No ads are blocked on YouTube. None. This is a total waste of time and I will be deleting it permanently.
